Running a game

An evening, from the DM’s chair

You prepare a little before the night, then run it at the table. Nothing has to be written from nothing: describe what you want in a line, and the assistant drafts it for you to keep or change.

A Respite is the save point: a Long Rest for everyone. Hit points and spell slots come back, and the night carries on from here.
